How many sponsors can come to camp and how much will they cost?
Two sponsors are included in the camp prices. We love your involvement and encourage you to listen in as we train your athletes.
Will the sponsor training meet UIL requirements?
Yes! We are so excited to provide our sponsors with training and certification that meet UIL requirements for a Cheer Specific Safety Course. This is also included in your camp package! You will, however, need to obtain AED & Concussion Training and the UIL Concussion Education. Please visit the UIL website for specific information.

Can I get the material we learn at camp on a DVD? What about extra material?
Lone Star Cheerleading Association has compiled all of the summer material for each squad to obtain after camp at no extra charge. Each dance is shown with music from the front and back, along with counts and a teaching section so you can learn or review at your own pace. The cheers and sidelines are shown and then broken down for learning or reviewing as well. We hope you enjoy and take advantage of the extra material available to you!
Will tumbling instruction be offered at camp?
Your personal cheer staffer can include previously learned tumbling skills into your routine. With all of the great things prepared for camp, tumbling is not taught.
What will be taught at camp?
In general a squad will learn the following (unless the camp has been customized otherwise):
3 Cheers, 6 Sidelines, 3 Stunt Class sessions (typically 9 stunts taught a day), 1 Incorporated Cheer, 2 Incorporated Dance/Stunt routines (Throwback and Star Routine), 1 Hip Hop or Pom Dance, 1 Jump Class, 1 Fight Song Clean Up (their own fight song), and 1 Pyramid Class
Can other schools attend our camp?
We would love for you to host a camp! Please fill out this form and we will be in touch with you shortly. There is not a minimum or maximum number for our camps. LSCA has a low camper to cheer staff ratio to ensure everyone gets hands on attention in a safe and exciting environment.
Can our mascot come and is it the same price?
Yes your mascot is welcome to attend camp at the same price as any other participant.
Do we need to provide lodging for the Lone Star cheer staff?
Lone Star Cheerleading Association takes care of the cheer staff so you do not need to worry about providing them a place to stay.
How do I pay for camp?
Once you have registered your squad on our web site, you will receive an invoice via email. You can send a check to:

Can I pay for camp with a credit card?
Yes, please call or email our office and we will get this taken care of.
Are meals provided at camp?
LSCA does not provide meals at private camps. When staying at an overnight camp, breakfast and lunch are provided. Some of our travel camps have a lunch package that can be purchased at an additional cost.
Is the hotel included for overnight camps?
Yes, Lone Star Cheerleading Association will take care of booking all hotels for overnight camps and the price is included in the camp fee.
What is a choreography portal?
A choreography portal is a special password protected drive for only you and your team to access. LSCA will put your custom choreography onto the portal so your cheerleaders can learn at their own pace and convenience. The portal can be accessed at any and all times.
Can we get a choreography portal without registering for camp?
Yes, Lone Star Cheerleading Association can provide full custom choreography through the online portal without ever coming to your location.
Where can I find the release forms?
Release forms can be found at the bottom of any page on our website. All participating cheerleaders must have a release form completed before camp begins. Lone Star cheer staff will collect all forms the morning of your first camp day. There is no need to scan or mail them to us beforehand.
How many cheer staff members will be at our camp?
Our private and gameday camps are staffed at a 1 to 10 staffer to camper ratio. For example if you have 23 participants 3 LSCA Staff members will be instructing your camp.

Can I split my one day private camp into two half days?
Unfortunately you cannot split a one day private camp into two half days. In order to get instruction over a two day period you will need to book a two day private camp.
